Editorial Intern

Launched in January 2015, H A P P E N I N G is an online arts journal (recognized as an online press service by the French Ministry of Culture) with correspondents across the globe. We are currently looking for an intern to join our English Paris-based team full time to help grow the company.

Roles and responsibilities would include:

-       Researching and writing daily news digest pieces

-       Translating from French to English

-       Proofreading English content

-       Actively participating in the maintenance of our social media sites

- Sourcing images to accompany articles, calling and emailing galleries/museums/auction houses etc.

-       Uploading articles to the website

-       Reporting live from events, exhibitions and openings.

Desired profile: 

-       Mother tongue Anglophone

-       Excellent level of written English

-       High level of written and spoken French

-       Posses good overview of the contemporary art scene and art market

-       Dynamic, personable and slightly fearless
