We are looking for counselors to supervise our immersive English language camps for students aged 8 to 13 (primary and middle school). At American Village, children learn English through everyday activities: games, evening programs, meals and activities. Everything takes place in English!

As a counselor, you are at the heart of the children’s experience. You support them throughout their daily life and play an active role in camp life.

Your role:

• Teach English in a fun and interactive way through lessons and engaging activities.
• Create a safe, caring and supportive environment.
• Bring energy and enthusiasm to activities, games and evening programs.
• Prepare and perform sketches, songs and activities.
• Create fun and creative learning materials.

What we are looking for:

• C1 level of English minimum: English will be your working language on a daily basis.
• Previous successful experience in youth activities or teaching.
• An energetic, caring and committed personality.
• A strong team spirit, good adaptability and communication skills.
• Autonomy, maturity and a strong sense of responsibility.
• The ability to lead by example and maintain a professional attitude with both children and team members.

What we offer:

• 2053€ gross/month on a fixed-term contract (CDD).
• 100€ reimbursement towards your travel expenses to get to the centre.
