Young at Heart and Ready to Retire

I am 59.  I am young at heart.  I love pets.  I am looking to retire in Paris. I live in a close suburb of Chicago called Downers Grove.  I studied at the Sorbonne and lived in Paris for 1 year.  I am semi-fluent in French.  (It's been a long time)  I just came back to this country from a 3-month stay in Paris (the Barbes area).  During that time, I learned the "lay of the land" of Paris.  Paris is not as expensive as you think.  There are 2nd-hand stores, dollar stores and fea markets there.  After 3 months time, I would like to apply for a residency permit.

I would like to live in a studio with an older, serious female. I am young at heart but that means I like to go out a lot. I am willing to live anywhere in Paris but I would prefer the arrondissments near the border because there, there is more grass and trees.
