Looking for room in the center of Paris

Hi everybody!
I'm going to spend 5 months in Paris for study, and i'm in searching of a cheap apartment or room to stay. I will study at Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Versailles, so I'm in searching of a flat as near as possible of the RER C, but I don't want to live outside the center of Paris.
I'm a quiet person, very interested in culture, art, music and obviously architecture. I'm a clean person, I don't smoke and I already had other experience to live outside, so I know how to live in harmony with other people and I want to know new friends.
