Long term Accommodation with privacy

I am easy going, adaptive person...looking a decent place to stay for long term (atleast 6 months or more i would extend if i like the place).
I am doing my PhD in Paris.
i will be in Paris for next two years and would like to not change places. Price is the constraint for me. Cheaper the better.
