Couple looking for a studio or an apartment in Paris

My boyfriend (25) and I (22) are looking for a private studio or apartment within the city ring of Paris for the university year of 2013-2014. My boyfriend will start a Masters programme at Paris-VI, I will be attending an intensive language course. We will both also be working. Both of us just finished our bachelor's degree in philosophy at the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Laurens - my boyfriend - is a near-native French speaker and fluent in English, my proficiency in French is quite unadvanced, hence the language course. My English is fluid.
We prefer an apartment or studio with private facilities, but we have no issues with a shared bathroom and shower. We can afford a maximum of 900 euros a month including utilities.
