23 year old, searching for a space

I arrived here from Australia about a month and a half ago to basically live in Paris for a year. I came with no real plans, a suitcase and a litttle knowledge of the French language, which is still slithering its way into my natural vocabulary.  I'm looking for a place which is suitable for one person. I don't mind sharing a house or appartment with other people, and I would consider a studioette as well. I'll be in Paris until July and want to find a place I could live in until then. I'm pretty respectful of others, and I don't mind parties, loud music etc.  So long as the place has a bed I could sleep in, a table, or room for one, and preferably a window, it's a possibility for me, and of course, the necessities, i.e. Bathroom, etc.
