20 year old student looking for accommodation in Paris

Hey, 

I am a 20 year old student from Edinburgh uni who is moving to Paris at the start of September to study French at Sorbonne Nouvelle, and am currently searching for accommodation, ideally until July 2017. 

As the uni is quite central, I would like accommodstion to be fairly close to the city centre, but would not mind commuting from somewhere a little bit further out. I would like to live in a social setting, with people who enjoy going out into the city often and meeting new people. 

I also hope to have the opportunity to meet people who share my interests. One of my main interests is music, so getting to know people who enjoy live music (of any kind, really) would be ideal. I also enjoy lit and film, and have an interest in language and linguistics. (I'm currently studying French at university and have studied Linguistics for the past few years at Edinburgh.
