20 year old girl looking for accommodation in Paris

We are two sisters (20 and 22 years old) from Munich, Germany moving to Paris in order to do our semester abroad from January till April. We are both very easy going, reliable and like to keep our living place clean and tidy.
We are looking for an apartment, a studio or a room where we can live together or close by. Our budget is 1000 Euro per month together. We are hoping to find a nice and safe neighbourhood close to our Universtiy which will be European Business School (but we would not mind having to travel by metro or bus in order to get to the University).
