2 English girls looking for accomodation close to Paris 10th

We are 2 friendly, sociable English girls looking for accomodation in Paris. We are Erasmus students from the University of Sheffield currently doing a British Council placement, working as English language assistants in Creteil and Laon. Both are rather sleepy towns and certainly not what we're used to, so we'd love to live in Paris and commute to work from there - we much prefer living in a bigger city as we do back in England and find that living in Paris is the best way to spend your year abroad! We are already a month and a half into our placements so would like to find a place as soon as possible and because we commute, a place as close to Gare du Nord as possible (preferably the 10th or 9th arrondissments but also in any of the surronding areas).
