18 year old guy, looking for accommodation in Paris

I am 18 years old and will be taking a gap year in Paris before starting university. I am looking for accommodation in the city, preferably near the centre. Obviously, the cheaper the better and size is not really a problem for me. I am from the Dominican Republic and living in Paris holds the number one spot on my bucket list.
