Recommendations on French Classes

Hi everyone, 

I'm a medical student from NYC that will be spending 3 months in Paris starting February. I speak fluent English and Spanish and have been doing the duolingo iphone app for French over the past couple of months to prep for the classes. I plan on taking a month of intensive French classes and wanted to ask about which you would recommend.  

I tend to learn best through conversations and writing. I'm not the best auditory learner though.  I have heard a lot about Alliance Francaise, but wanted to hear about the other options. I will be living in the Latin district (V) so would be best if I can walk there.
