Hi everybody! from January I ll be in Paris for a Master program...I d like to know something about the university and...I saw that it's outside Paris..do you think it will be better to find a flat in the city or near the university?

I ve heard that is not a very good area to live in..

lettt me knowww!!!!!!!!! pleaseee**

carlotta

Ciao,

I have been thinking about exactly the same Carlotta, I just have not much time since I go there for the first semester.

I have asked a lot of people what they think, even french people. And you should go for the room in Paris itself and not in the suburbs.

Prices are more expensive yea, but you'll experience the real lifestyle of a Parisienne. When you got a room in Saint-Denis, you wont have as much fun I think. Just like you said it's not a good area to live in, especially for girls.

With the Navigo pass you can use bus/metro/train from everywhere in Paris centre up to the school for €70 a month.
It takes max 50min to go to Paris 13 since there is a lot of public transport.

If you have more questions feel free to ask.

Ciao

ps. I love Italy, been in Florence for 2 months ;)

thak u very much ! ..I was thinking the same..living in he city it would be better..ok so let s keep in touch ! I m gonna wait some update about your experience in Paris!

p.s. I know I m gonna have lots problem with food there.. ahhaha! :P

Ciao!!

Today I got my results of my exams, and luckily I passed so I can go to Paris :))
Next week I'll go to Paris to look for a room. Let's hope I find something, so I dont have to sleep under a bridge ;).

Oh and you're definitly gonna have problems with the food. Italian food is by far the best.

Ciao

Hey, I'm going to Paris next saturday and I still haven't found a place to stay... anyone interested in searching for an appartement to share? My budget is not very big though.

I'm going to Paris next week, if you find anything and need someone to share costs I'm in :). I got around €500/month to spend.

Ciao!

I've seen an interesting offer here on this site http://www.erasmusu.com/en/erasmus-paris/rooms-for-rent-erasmus/ensuite-2-bedroom-apartment-in-city-center-paris-11-arrondissement-2873 so I made contact and am now waiting to get more details about this place, if it looks okay I'll let you know :)

Please let me know, that'd be awesome. Pay attention for scammers though. They are even here on erasmusu.

If you need help, message me :)

Ciao
