Palmas is a very new city, with approximately 28 years. It has wonderful landscapes, a lot of waterfalls (in Taquaruçu region), plenty of good food and adventure people all around the city. It is a very peaceful city with work opportunity.
What is the student lifestyle like in Palmas?
Palmas has Federal University, Regional University, Private Colleges and high schools very qualified. There is living/food support from the government.
How much does it cost to live in Palmas?
Palmas isn't an expensive city to live, although you need to have a car or patience (for bus) because it's a very wide city.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Palmas? Is there any advice you can give?
It didn't cost me to find a place to live because my parents live there.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Brazil has the best food ever. Spicy and taste food everywhere. I love pão de queijo, açaí, pastel, pamonha, paçoca de carne (you can find in Palmas at Rei da Paçoca - it's delicious), pizzas and vegetarian food.
What places would you recommend visiting in Palmas?
Rei da Paçoca. Praia da Graciosa (the sunset is beautiful as the sky is). Taquaruçu. Praça dos Girassóis. Lajeado do Tocantins. Feira da 304 north. Parque Cesamar. The bridge.

Fogão à lenha. Dom vergílio. Açaí nosso. Rei da Paçoca. Pali Palam. Mercatto. Shawarma.
Is the nightlife good in Palmas? Where is good to go?
There is no a lot of places to party, but one of the most trendy place is Feijoalha.
