What is it like to live in Paderborn, Germany? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Paderborn is not a big city but it's nice. In less than a month you feel that you are the top of Paderborn and can get along with everyone. I love this place, I come from a smaller town, so being here has been the best experience of my life.
What is the student lifestyle like in Paderborn, Germany?
The atmosphere is great and very comfortable, there are about 20000 students at the University, but you can easily find friends.
How much does it cost to live in Paderborn, Germany?
I share the accommodation with two other girls and pay 250 euros. It's perfect. I'm only 5 minutes away from the university on foot, this is a big advantage.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Paderborn? Is there any advice you can give?
I could recommend the college dorms, but it wouldn't be all of them. Mersinweg and Vogelius are the best in terms of price and proximity.
Is it good to eat out in Paderborn, Germany? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
College food is so good, I think. You have many options: hamburgers, packaged food, fries, cakes and also something for breakfast.
What places would you recommend visiting in Paderborn?
I recommend you to visit the Neuhaus Castle which is really beautiful. PQ which is a nice place to relax with friends.
