What is it like to live in Oviedo? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It´s a very nice city. You are very close to the beach and also super close to the mountains. It´s a natural paradise. The city centre is beautiful. Food is really good! People are usuaally super nice

What is the student lifestyle like in Oviedo?

You go to class in the morning or evening depending on your degree. Then some people go to the gym, go to drink something... you can chill out in nice parks. On Thurdays, Fridays and Saturdays people usually go out.

How much does it cost to live in Oviedo?

You can find a flat to share witj students for a good price: arond 150 euros per month. Then it will depend on how much money you spend eating, going out, travelling....

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Oviedo? Is there any advice you can give?

No, there are a lot of flats in Oviedo for students. The bad thing is thaat there are not maany hostels so first days finding a room can be difficult.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food is really good in Oviedo and in the area. Even if yoou buy food in the supeermarket of local shops you can find fesh food and very good prices.
Food in restaurants is super good. You always get so much thant is difficult to finish everything!

Is it good to eat out in Oviedo? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Its really good! Most restaurants have daily menus with very good prices!
Terra Astur is one of my favourite ones! There are so many good places to eat out!
Jamon Jamon is a resturants close to the cathedral where you can get free tapas with your drinks! (the bad thing is that sometimes the waiters are not very nice with students...)

Is the nightlife good in Oviedo? Where is good to go?

Yes I think is good. There are three/four main streets where most of the pubs are located. You getg inside for free, so if you dont like the athmosphere is very easy to go somewhere else. In most places drinks have good prices.
You also can go to beer places with good music.
