Why did you choose to go to Oviedo, Spain?

Oviedo is one of the northern cities of Spain and welcomes a lot of Erasmus students from all over the world. The city is beautiful with its friendly, lovely people and traditional culture as the centre of Asturias region. You can travel the whole city by walk easily. Weather is very good even though its very rainy.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Oviedo to other students?

Certainly. Personally, I intend to choose Universidad de Oviedo for my my Master Degree.

Traditional.

How much does it cost to live in Oviedo?

Depends on your personal spending. Accomodation is at most 300 euros per month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Oviedo from your city?

From Madrid, Alsa is the cheapest way but you can also use Renfe.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Monte Naranco, Catedral de Oviedo, Basilica de San Juan el Real.
