What is the student lifestyle like in Orsay?

The campus is very big and very green. The buildings are in a forest. There is a lot of entertainment on the campus (sport, music). The library is quite large, with a lot of volumes.

How much does it cost to live in Orsay?

Orsay is an expensive place. But a lot of students find a place in one of the student residences.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Orsay? Is there any advice you can give?

It is very difficult to find accommodation in Orsay. My advice would be to look for a place alongside the RER B line, in towns such as Massy, Palaiseau, Bures-sur-Yvette, or even Gif-sur-Yvette.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Nothing specific about food in Orsay.

What places would you recommend visiting in Orsay?

The city center looks like that of a small village in the countryside.

Is it good to eat out in Orsay? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Orsay's city center is very small. If you want to eat out, take the RER B train and go to Paris. My advice: Bagel Tom, a bagel store at 12 rue Volta, Paris (Underground line 11, stop at Arts et Métiers).

Is the nightlife good in Orsay? Where is good to go?

No nightlife in Orsay but you can go to Paris very easily (RER B line).

What advice would you give future students heading to Orsay?

Don't hesitate to register for the many activities on the campus. It is often very cheap.
