Here I am to describe another beautiful place in Nürnberg, especially if you come here where the sun is shining : Dutzendteich is one of the nicest park I've ever seen, because it's really big and it offers incredible views, for example a bright lake, a massive imposing "Colosseum" building and of course a mammoth wood with lots of different huge trees.
There you can also find black and red squirrels that are so nice and friendly or even colorful ducks. It's in my opinion an amazing place where to go with friends or children because you can relax your self and feel in peace with the surrounding world and nature.
You can also do a sort of "pic-nic" and there are places where you can cook meat for everybody.
Finally, you can organize parties or games because it's so big that you can find a corner on your own just for sleeping, reading or playing.
When you are in Nürnberg, you should go there, also by bike it would be nice!
I was there with some other erasmus students as me and it was a really sunny day. We have brought something delicious to eat together, and then we've played cards and also eaten ice-creams. Of course, you can go there on your own just for fresh-air or nature sights but I think it will be nicer if you are with lots of friends.
Time will pass without the possibility of realizing it and you will get amazing memories.
It's a little bit far away from the city center, but you can reach it by tram 6 (Doku-Zentrum line) that starts from Plärrer... And it will be as going out from the noise of city, from all cars and buses and just living the nature!
So no more to say apart : discover and enjoy it!
