Noise in the residence

Noise in the residence.

Yesterday we celebrated my friend and flatmate, Julia's, birthday, altogether we were quite a lot of people. We put music on and around 11 the caretaker came in, shouting at us in a horrible way saying that we needed to turn off the music and kicked out the people who did not live there (something that I don't understand as it is my house and I can have who I want in it).

We said to him yes like crazy ones, but we carried on for a bit until we said that we were going to a club and just then, the man came again.

We left, the club wasn't bad, we came back and this morning at 10 am we were eating breakfast in the kitchen really quietly and the other caretaker came in with three sheets in his hands. He said to us that they are for the noise from last night, and that we had to meet with the reception.

Two letters are a fine of 15 sterling pounds for excessive noise.

The other is to select the date and time of the meeting with the reception.

We are so annoyed because I have spent 4 months here trying to call the caretaker to come and see my darling neighbour downstairs. After calling him for the twentieth time they finally fined him. But for us we were noticed the first time?

We were only going to pay for one, which is what downstairs paid, I don't think I would pay it 20 times. It took them 4 months to give us the fine and they wanted us to pay it within a week...

The best thing to do would be to not talk about it... but as they told me they are going to the noise very seriously... I am not going to be able to contain myself...
