What is it like to live in Niterói? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Niterói is a great city, one of the best brazilian cities. Beautiful people and with a high education level. As every city, Niterói has its poor and rich parts, but both live well.

What is the student lifestyle like in Niterói?

The most of the Niterói studant are from UFF, and usually, they live in south zone of the city. They like to go to the beach, cinema, teather and, mainly, partys.

How much does it cost to live in Niterói?

To live in Niterói doesn't cheap. The city has good places to go, like shopping centers, restaurants and markets, they are great, but not cheap. But, of course, has cheap options.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Niterói? Is there any advice you can give?

It is not difficult. There are a lot of apartments or bedrooms to rent.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

We have the most good brazilian dishes and sofisticated restaurants. My favourite dishe is barbucue.

What places would you recommend visiting in Niterói?

Speaking of culture, we have the MAC, Museum of Contemporary Art, designed by Brazilian Oscar Nyermyer, the greatest Architect in the world. On the beach, Itacoatiara beach, Plaza Shopping is a good place to eat as well and Rua Moreira Cesar, has many shops.

Is it good to eat out in Niterói? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Verdana Churrascaria is a great restaurant.

Is the nightlife good in Niterói? Where is good to go?

Has some restaurants in São Francisco beach with live music and some nightclubs as Casa.

What advice would you give future students heading to Niterói?

Have fun on the beaches during the day and walk down the San Francisco coast at night and choose one of the great restaurants that are there.
