Generally, what is National Academy of Arts like?
The National Academy of Arts is like a community - people are closer and know each other better (than in a university with a lot of students). It is not about paing and getting education, but more about art and values. Last but not least, it is the best school for visual arts in Bulgaria.
What are the facilities like?
There are four building. Half of them was totally renovated last year, the other half is waiting for renovation, but keeps the artistic spirit of the past. Every faculty has its own space and equipment for work.
What are the tutors like?
Most of the tutors are professors with a successful career and long experience as teachers. They are open for conversation on different topics.
Are the lessons easy in National Academy of Arts?
It depends on the lessons, but mainly - yes.
Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?
It organizes exhibitions, plain airs, conferences etc.
Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?
In my experience - yes. I received a lot of good advices, opinions and guidance through the process of painting and drawing.
