I would reccomend to live in this city, if you like nature and not the big city life.
What is the student lifestyle like in Neubrandenburg?
It's really cool to study in Neubrandenburg, because there are only round about 2000 students and it's like everyone knows everyone. It feels like one big family.
How much does it cost to live in Neubrandenburg?
You can pay from 160-350 for the flat rents. Depends on if you rent only a room in the dorm, or if you have your own appartment.
Foods are not that expensive also to make party, or visit the cinema is okay. I need 200€ for foods and leisure things.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Neubrandenburg? Is there any advice you can give?
I don't think so. There is a dorm for the students and if you apply in time, it's possible to get one room.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
I relly love to cook by myself, so i buy much vegetables and spices and love to eat fresh and healty food.
What places would you recommend visiting in Neubrandenburg?
The Tollensesee and the Reitbahnsee are two really wonderful lakes in Neubrandenburg. Also the Belvedere is very nice place, where you have a good view over the big Tollensesee.
Is it good to eat out in Neubrandenburg? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
There are some good kebaps in the whole city.
Also the restaurants: Burgerkult, La Paz and the Turmcafe are nice spots to get some delicious food.
Is the nightlife good in Neubrandenburg? Where is good to go?
No. Here are not that much possibilities in the ciy is only one big club, but it's not a big thing for the students. But the University has it's own club, which is very nice, but there you will met only the student, you already know. But it can be very cool to party there.
What advice would you give future students heading to Neubrandenburg?
Neubrandenburg is really good to enjoy the nature and aso have a good socials life, because of the students. Berlin, the Baltic Sea or Stettin are that far away and you can visit it easy.
You got everything here you need. The people are very kindly and open minded, and it will be a great expierience to live in this city.
