Generally, what is Near East University like?

It is a really big university in North Cyprus (Turkish side of Cyprus).It is an international university there are students from all Africa countrie,Europe countries and Asia countries.

What are the facilities like?

If you are from a country which's native language is english you cant feel a 'foreign' in this country.

What are the tutors like?

It depends from faculty to faculty.I study on faculty of pharmacy and we have really experienced teachers from Turkey's old universities.

Are the lessons easy in Near East University?

It also depends from faculty to faculty.It is really not easy to pass on faculties of pharmacy,medicine,dentistry and law.

Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?

I think they are not well.They need to be better.There are only just 2 concerts in spring term and it is not enough.On the other hand there are lots of student clubs.

Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?

For my faculty ;yes there is a good quality.Of course there are some bad teachers but for generally it is good.

Are there any stories you can share?
