There is a variety of different food types in Nanaimo. Being a multicultural city, we offer restaurants such as Thai, Chinese food, Sushi, Indian, American, Italian, and Greek. My favourite would be Firehouse grill (sushi)..

What places would you recommend visiting in Nanaimo?

I would recommend visiting what the outdoors has to offer.. Mt. Benson, Ammonite falls, Englishmen River.. Wild play in Nanaimo is a nice place to go for coffee and watch people bungee jump. Or you could bungee jump yourself!

The nightlife is great on a Thursday night in Nanaimo. Old City Station pub has great deals and Level Two is great to boogie the night away in.
