Generally, what is Metropolitan University Prague like?

It´s a relatively small university however I found it really good as the Erasmus choice, because we have our own English department and so you have various subjects in English to choose and also everybody speaks English wherever you go or whatever you need to do.

What are the facilities like?

The university has everything a uni needs: we have a library with lots of computers so it almost never happens that you cannot find one to work with. It has all the facilities you need for studying, printing, copying, scanning etc. I would say it´s ok.

What are the tutors like?

I have to say that it really depends. However mostly they are really nice and helpful. They are specialists, but they don't force you to do anything, so if you are really interested in studying, you have to be the one who motivates you! On the other hand, if you prefer to enjoy the student life more during the evenings, it will not limit you.

Are the lessons easy in Metropolitan University Prague?

Yeaaaah, kind of easy. We read more than we memorize. Again, it depends on you. You can make it easy and you can make it hard for you but generally it´s ok. Most of the students work but teachers respect it. I really cannot say that it´s difficult.

Does the University organize activities; what are they like?

I know the university organize some activities for Erasmus students, but not for locals. There are few like skiing week every winter etc. but anyway, all the parties are organized by students.

Do you think the teaching is of a high quality?

The teaching is usually of a good quality, afterwards it depends on students. So I would say it´s somewhere in the middle.
