Need of a shared apartment or room mate from October 2024

Hello, I'm Gayathri (Gaya)!

I'm 30 years old and originally from Sri Lanka. I’m moving to Münster on October 6th to pursue a Master’s in Social Anthropology, following my previous Master’s in Development Policy. I’ve worked with the United Nations as an international analyst for 4 years, which gave me the opportunity to collaborate with people from diverse cultures, and I’ve lived in shared flats with internationals—Asians, Europeans, and Africans—for 2 years.

I’m someone who deeply values meaningful connections, and I enjoy teaching, social work, and volunteering. In my free time, you’ll find me gazing at the sky, immersed in K-dramas, or reading manhwa with a matcha latte in hand. I also love swimming, travelling, photography, and discovering new places—whether that’s a café or a quiet spot in nature.

What I’m looking for in a flat share: I’m seeking a comfortable, welcoming environment where flatmates enjoy spending time together but also respect personal space. I appreciate open, friendly communication and shared moments like cooking, chatting over coffee, or watching movies. Having lived in multicultural environments, I thrive in homes that embrace diversity and offer a sense of community.

I’m particularly drawn to easy-going, positive people who, like me, enjoy spontaneity but are also respectful of shared spaces. A flat where we can sometimes do activities together, like game nights or outdoor adventures, would be ideal!
