Asian Restaurant Opening - Full & Part Time Jobs

Greetings -- we are opening a new Asian restaurant opening in Haidhausen -- we are seeking full and part time employees -- details below:

Restaurant Concept
With maximum seats of 50, dinner service will consist of four to six course tasting menus of Asian fusion cuisine paired with wines selected by Chef Mun. The menus will be inspired by the cuisines of China, Japan and Korea and will include numerous items that are not currently available in Munich. Some examples are spicy tuna on pan fried crispy rice, filet mignon with soy sauce and Malbec reduction, slow cooked pork belly on Chinese steamed buns, fresh salads with Chef Mun`s signature dressings and Korean-style rib eye steak.

Bar Concept
Asian-inspired bar and cocktail lounge. Will offer excellent classic cocktails as well as exotic creations. Extensive wine list, including Chef Mun’s favorite – Malbec from Argentina. Chef Mun will offer “Izikaya-style” small plates such as delicious sushi, Chinese dim sum and succulent Korean barbeque.

We are assembling our team of professionals for the opening. Seeking full and part time employees. We are seeking friendly persons with valid work permit in Germany. We are an international team and the restaurant will operate in English. German fluency required for the sous chef & bar and service staff positions.

Experienced Sushi Chef
Responsible for production, ordering and receiving, sanitation, and safety regulations within the restaurant. Includes: daily preparation work; filleting fish; assisting with menu planning and development, including creativity and experimentation with new trends and menu ideas. Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations and maintenance of a high degree of cleanliness.

Experienced Sous Chef (fluent German & English)
Responsibilities include: creation and delivery of daily menus and dishes; training apprentice chefs, line cooks, and other kitchen staffer; division of labor within kitchen stations; inventory and food cost control; staff supervision and scheduling; sanitation and hygiene; equipment maintenance; cross-marketing for increased sales – pairing wine with food, etc.

Lead Bartender (fluent German and English)
Interact with customers in the bar and restaurant and provide wine beverage recommendations. Establishment of wine list. Responsible for all activities related to alcohol and beverage service; training all bar employees on bar and beverage equipment and services; mixing / blending classic & trendy cocktails. Ensuring that all bar operations are in full compliance with all government policies, rules and regulations; inventory and cost control; all cleaning and sanitation procedures.

Servers (fluent German and English)
Ensure that patrons have an enjoyable dining experience by providing quality customer service. Proper service of food and drinks, and removing dinnerware from the table in a timely manner. Ability to memorize each course and accompanying wine pairing to convey to the customers. Detail oriented as to ingredients. We have positions for both experienced severs and those willing to learn.
