My name is Lilli Tripodi. I am a PhD student of the international doctorate in "Urban Regeneration and Economic Development" of the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria. Reggio is a rather small university, but with interesting training opportunities like this doctorate. As an international doctorate it takes place in collaboration with other European and American universities and it involves attending lessons at the Northeastern University in Boston, which is one of the American partners. Having already spent a year in the United States, I assure an excellent knowledge of English and a good propensity for cultural exchange with students from other European countries and beyond. Now I am at the last year of my PhD and I decided to enrich my international experience finishing my thesis at the Technische Universitat Munchen. Thus, I am going to spend three months in Munich, from October to December 2015. I am looking for a single room in an apartment within the metropolitan area of Munich. I am willing to pay a monthly rent for a minimum of 300 € to a maximum of 500 €. The requirements most of all influence my choice regard the proximity of the bus / subway and the presence of a supermarket in a walkable distance. Preferably I do not want to live too far from downtown, but at a distance that allows me to be at Marienplatz in about thirty minutes using public transport. I would like to stay in an apartment with other students and I prefer apartments with two bathrooms. I'm not a good chef, but I am quite methodical and I like living in a clean and tidy space. Consequently, when it comes to clean I do not ever pull back! I really enjoy spending free time outdoors, but in the winter it is enough for me to have a little company and a beer to raise the tone of the days of intense study. I really like to listen to different kinds of music (rock, jazz, rap, blues, electronic) and I also have quite eclectic tastes regarding movies. I love to karaoke, though I am not a perfect singer!
