Accomodation

Hello. My name is Donato Pasculli. I am 25 years old and I come from Italy, precisely from the south of Italy. When I was done with the high school (science-based) in Martina Franca (TA), I moved to Rome enrolling to “Sapienza” University in the bachelor of Chemistry.

When I was done with the bachelor, with the degree mark of 100/110, I decided to enroll in the master of Organic and Biomolecular Chemistry even in “Sapienza” University of Rome.

For the masterthesis internship, I thought to try a new experience, doing it in another country, putting myself in front of another reality and in front of another way of living.

Therefore, I took the chance that the Erasmus plus Traineeship project offers. I chose as destination Germany and precisely Munich, applying myself at Technische Universität München.

I will start my masterthesis work with the Prof. Lukas Hintermann and his team of Organocatalysis in September.

The period of stay is about seven months, therefore starting at the beginning of September (03/09) until April.

For this reason, I am looking for an accommodation in Munich.

I like to read. I read mostly classic romances, works of writers such as Moravia, Wharton, Cechov, D’Annunzio and more others. Reading is one of my favorite hobbies in the leisure time.

I do skate and I like sports. I like to cook Italian foods and I am curious to discover German ones.

I like to meet new people, meet new cultures and new way of thinking. These are also reasons that led me to try this new experience.

I am fascinated by Germany, by German people and by that different lifestyle compared to the Italian one.

I hope these seven months will let me come inside the German culture and will let me see the working life proper of Germany.
