20-year-old girl looking for accommodation in Munich

I will be in Munich between September 2014 and July 2015, conducting research in affiliation with LMU, and I am looking for a place to live. I need somewhere furnished, non-smoking, and with good access to public transit. I'm a relatively quiet girl (except when I practice music, but I can do that away from the flat, if necessary). I have a strong interest in theatre and opera, both as a performer and as a spectator. I speak English, Spanish, Italian, German, and Japanese. My past university degrees are in engineering and literature.

While I am looking for a place alone at the moment, I also have a few friends who are looking for accommodation, so please do let me know if you have multiple rooms free.
