What are the facilities like?

In the city center, there is the oldest campus. There are Fine Arts Faculty and Architecture Faculty together. Every department has its own classes for every course and workplace. Library, cafe and refectory are the common areas with ingates from both faculties. Two yards, one in the backside with a green area and a basketball port, and a front yard with the great panoramic Bosphorus view. Shuttles working every half an hour between this and the other campuses. Another historical building for only events and exhibitions under the university name and it's just in 10 min. walking distance from this campus.

They are mostly graduated from this university by tradition. The outcomings are also from the best universities in Turkey and have done the best works while they were in the market.

Are the lessons easy in Mimar Sinan Güzel Sanatlar Üniversitesi?

It depends on the previous education the student's got but it's not really easy to pass in classes which gives the basics of that department. The rest is also needed hard working.

Does the University organize activities; what are they like?

Most of the activities are exhibitions, biennials, conferences and some traditional parties like costume party in every march, etc. Students organizations also organizing a lot of activities inside/out of the campus.

Do you think the teaching is of high quality?

I can say that this university is still attached to the oldest traditions, so the students gain good and at some point bad effects of this situation. If the person can make a strong connection with the market as much as with the university everything will be easier after graduating.

Are there any stories you can share?

This is my 5th year in this university - in Industrial Product Design Department in Architecture Faculty but also takes students by Fine Arts skills exams - I can say I'm full of stories that I will never forget.
