Hi friends, Hope everyone are doing great.
I would like to describe about my holiday trip to museo Ferrari located in Modena and Maranello. I don’t know where to start and How to start with …. but... A formal and a trendy way……I have been to this place along with my friends and it is a 5 minute walk from Modena railway station. There are two museums, one is in Modena and other museum is about 18KM far away from Modena. Its nearer to the Ferrari factory in Ferrari's home town called ‘Maranello’, a place nearer to Modena, Italy.
About the Museum:
Museo Ferrari once upon a time known as Galleria Ferrari, It is Ferrari company museum dedicated to the most amazing running machines ever built by mankind its Ferrari sports car marque. The museum is not exclusively for cars but also it’s a paradise constructed to demonstrate the view of success and passion towards racing. I have enjoyed seeing the trophies, photographs and other historical stuff related to the Machine racing industry. I witnessed technological innovations in design of engines, gear and speed-precision control mechanisms, which had resulted the transformation from racing cars to road cars.
My Journey and experience:
Me and my friends started from Bologna, took a train from Bologna central to Modena and the journey was about 1 hour. The most interesting and beautiful part of our journey is we witnessed as spectacular view of farm fields and greenery on either side of the tracks. I felt it’s a feast to my eyes. No sooner we got down from the Modena train station we headed towards the Museum. It’s a 10 minute walk from the station and here come my dreamland “Museo Ferrari”.
We reached the museum around 11AM and guys I forget to mention the museum timings, by the way it will be open from morning 9:30 AM to evening 6:00 PM and we took the tickets and it costed about 22 Euro per head for the entry to both museum, As we are students we were given special discounts of 10 Euro.
We took a quite good number of photos especially with all possible angles and with all the cars. At 2:30 PM we started towards museum in Maranello. Actually there is a bus service provided by Ferrari museum department to Maranello and the bus charge is about 10 Euros for both up and down journey. It took about 3 hours to see all the stuff.
Interesting thing is there were simulator game of Ferrari car and photo shoot with new model car of Ferrari “California”, I was amazed to see such a huge collection of vintage cars, latest model of Ferrai, Formula cars and Stuff related to engines and aerodynamic accessories of the car. There is an exclusive Ferrari store, where you can get official merchandise of Ferrari such as Shirts, watches, Jackets and keychains and shoes. Guys make sure your wallet and ATM cards are fully loaded with cash. I couldn’t control myself buying those stuff. Especially, shoes and Shirts. Of course they are quite expensive but Guys its Ferrari………….!
We took photographs with new model of Ferrari called California and they charged about 15 Euro. I think that’s the best and most memorable photo with my buddies. Clock’s ticked 5:30 and museum is about to close in 30 minutes. We took the bus and reached Modena. The journey was quite awesome as Maranello is located in city outskirts. Farm Fields, old buildings, greenery and a spectacular view of deers crossing the roads stole my heart.
Nature lovers will definitely enjoy the scene during the course of journey. We took a train from Modena and reached bologna. Last but not the least we were damn lucky to visit the Ferrari museum and spend a nice time over there with friends. Rain also joined us and made our day still more beautiful.
Piece of words from me and my friends:
Last but not the least, The exhibits are mostly a combination of Ferrari road and track cars. Many of Ferrari's most iconic cars from throughout its history are present in the museum. I would like to conclude by saying, “Guys if your fans of speed, Machines with high control and aerodynamic features it’s the best place to experience all such things in Museo Modena and Maranello”
