I was in Manchester as a erasmus student in 2016 between January and June. It was an amazing experience, I met so many people from differents countries. The city is perfect for a student life, there are many museum, bars, pubs, nightclubs, cafés etc...
All the accomodation for students are located in fallowfield or rusholme areas, very well deserved by bus. (day and night on the main roads, particulary oxford road and wilmslow road).
