Hi guys,

This time I would like to tell you more about the city itself, and the things what you should see while taking your exchange semester in Milan.

Where should I start? First things first, you should definitely take a look at the tourist attraction places such as Duomo, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele which is located next to Duomo where you can find luxury stores and cafés. The other place which is worth to visit is the famous opera - La Scala. You can get cheap tickets for various plays if you go there in the last minute. It can cost around 10 € instead of 100 or even more, so take this chance and see this amazing place with your own eyes. Moreover, if you are into art or design, I definitely suggest you to visit some design museum because students can get in for free or for a small amount of money.

For a night out, I recommend you to go to Navigli where there are a lot of nice bars, cafés where you can sit outside and enjoy some delicious cocktails, wines, etc. There are always a lot of young people hanging out, so it is one of the best places for a perfect night out. You can combine it with some aperitivo in one of the coolest restaurant down there - Maya. There you can find different types of food and tasty cocktails.

For a nice Sunday walks/runs you can take a look at park Sempione which is located in the center of Milan. It is one of my favorite ones! Near there is also many coffee places and cafés. Not far away from the park, you can find a small street with various Asian restaurants, stores etc. It's like a small Chinatown in the middle of the city.

In order to finish this post on the nice note, I would like to share my shopping advices. For girls I definitely recommend to check out the make up brand - KIKO. You may know it already, however, in Italy you can buy their products much cheaper than in other countries. They offer wide range of good make up products for small money. What is relevant to clothing stores, you can find many well-known brands such as Zara, Mango or H&M almost everywhere, but I advice you to also check out one of my favorite retailers called Dixie. It is located at the street Via Torino near to a Lush store there.

I hope this gave you a little insight of Milan and the life there.
