What is it like to live in Marondera? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Marondera is a small town outside of Harare. If you like your privacy this is a place to be,because you can disappear and no one will know where are. However, if you are a party person and one who likes to go out this would be the worst place to stay. There's no recreational facilities it's as good as dead.

What is the student lifestyle like in Marondera?

There's no universities here so not much of a student life. And also the most schools here are boarding schools so most students are like little kids.

How much does it cost to live in Marondera?

At most $500 per month including rent.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Marondera? Is there any advice you can give?

Not it's not. There's plenty of accommodation. I would say stay out of the high density areas.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

There's not many restaurants but the few takeaways offer great food my favorite is fries and chicken.

What places would you recommend visiting in Marondera?

Imire game Park. Ruzawi Lodge. Mukuyu wineries.

Is it good to eat out in Marondera? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

There's no places to eat out except at the food court... And I love the pizza there

Is the nightlife good in Marondera? Where is good to go?

There's no night life unless you going for a braai... At ruzawi Lodge,comoil and Cisco.

What advice would you give future students heading to Marondera?

Do not go to marondera there no market or universities
