It's good to live in maputo,it's a beautiful city very colorful,were you can find both worlds the more developed and advanced and the one that's old,simple and rustic. The people are kind and smiley,the food is out of this world and it's also close to beautiful beaches
What is the student lifestyle like in Maputo?
for a student is a wonderful city since there's a lot of activities that one can do, for entertainment and also for personal growth working as a volunteer on the spare time in one of the several NGO's and public institutions
How much does it cost to live in Maputo?
it depends on the life style that one want to have
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Maputo? Is there any advice you can give?
it's very easy to find accommodation in maputo through the normal search sites and also there's local places directory to search
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
the food is out of this world,my favorite dish is caril de amendoim com arroz de coco
What places would you recommend visiting in Maputo?
i recommend the fortress,the railway station,the local central market,the beach,the nightclubs
Is it good to eat out in Maputo? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
it is very good eating in Maputo,specially if you like small cousy places,I'd recommend mar na brasa,clube naval,zambi,coqueiro,rodisio,dolce vita
Is the nightlife good in Maputo? Where is good to go?
i hear that is very good,but i'm not the best person to tell you about it
What advice would you give future students heading to Maputo?
come open minded,prepare to face a totally different reality and be cautious with money and places to go
