Accommodation in Mijas/Fuengirola

Hi, I am a 20 year old girl who is looking for accommodation in a shared flat. I will be working in the Las Lagunas Area in Mijas for around 8/9 months therefore I would like to stay in a neighbourhood close to that where there is lots to do and it is easy to meet new people.
Could anyone recommend an area or a flat that I could live in? Thank you, Kirsty
