Special education teacher/ ESL teacher

I am Aggeliki Patakiouti, I am from Greece and I am looking for a summer period job
about 1-2 months.
I am a Special Education Teacher and I am studying Classical Music as a Performer
and Soloist. Also, I have TEFL certificate.

I took my Bachelor degree from University of Thessaly in Greece, at the Department
of Special Education. I have experience teaching students in a variety of settings. I
was teaching about two months (paid internship) as a special education teacher in
foundation with children with autism and physical or mental impairment. Also,
according to my practicum from University, I made three semesters internship. I have
experience as a main teacher in elementary school, as teacher assistant and teacher in
Integrate Department in elementary school, and as a special teacher in special
education school. As a Museum educator at an Olympic museum, I also have
experience teaching children of primary and elementary school. My responsibilities
are to make educational programs about Ancient, Modern, Paralympics games.
I would describe myself as someone who loves learning, resourceful, versatile,
determined, creative, ambitious, open-minded and easy-going, that is the reason why I
choose new teaching methods according to the personalized needs of the children.
My big dream is to become a Music therapist and involve my students in
musickinetic and kinesthetic learning environment with classical music or some traditional
music of their countries. As a museum educator in the Olympic Museum of
Thessaloniki, I have the chance to teach my students educational interactive programs
about sports.
I want to travel abroad and teach because I think that as a young learner and teacher I
have to take as much as I can experience and I want to learn more about other
cultures. Also, I want to make my learning teaching environment more interactive and
differentiated, and I need that experience to make it more possible.
I would also, love to find ways to integrate service-learning into my lesson plans. It is
my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate,
enthusiastic, intelligent teacher.
I am willing to relocate.
