Space Scout

We are Spacebase: a global booking platform for event locations and meeting spaces. We give renters access to unique locations for their next event and enable space providers to advertise their space to a ready-to-book user base. Founded last year in Capetown we already now have over 40 employees, operate in 18 cities and were recently awarded as Startup of the year 

We are looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial Space Scout to join our business development team in your city, part-time and on freelance basis. In your role as Space Scout you will support our team to create a great selection of space-listings. In  this function you are responsible for the entire registration cycle: generating and selecting leads, communicating directly with venues, understanding their needs and creating free listings for them. Your success ensures that our offerings cover the different neighbourhoods and exciting spaces in your city.

We make it possible to work independently, in an entrepreneurial setting, with great support and help from our local city managers. We provide tips and help you be successful and offer excellent performance-based compensation. Since it’s free for venues to join our platform no limits are placed on the amount of income that can be generated. This job is perfect for anyone with a self-starter mentality and communication skills to move forward.
