Erasmus student looking for affordable room in Madrid (close to centre or Vicalvaro)

Hi, I am student from Bournemouth University (UK), but originally I am from Riga (Latvia). I was accepted for Erasmus programme in URJC for second semester (January-June) and now I am looking for nice and affordable accomodation somwhere close to centre of Madrid or closer to my camous in Vicalvaro.
My budget is about 400 euros, but of course the less the better, 300 euros would be ideal. I am very friendly person, I speak fluent English, Russian and Latvian, however my Spanish is only on elementary level yet, which I hope to improove during my studies in URJC:)
