Business student of 21, looking for a room in Madrid while studying abroad

Dear future Roommates

My name is Bas. I am 21 years old and a 4th year business student from the University of Twente, the Netherlands. I will embark on an exchange period to Madrid in September to study at Rey Juan Carlos University, and I am looking for accommodation for the 6 months I will be spending there. I am currently living in my student dorm on the campus of the University of Twente with 15 housemates. Next to cooking and eating together, we do all sorts of fun activities, like escape rooms, wakeboarding, playing padel, having random bathroom parties, going on weekends away and having Christmas dinner together. We became so close that I now consider some of them to be my best friends. I like to do as much fun and crazy shit in Madrid with you guys as I am doing here. That’s the reason why I am interested in getting a room with your student house group! 

Some random info about myself: I am a sports fanatic; I go to the gym daily, I play tennis, I do boxing, I play futsal and football, and then, of course, not the American bullshit but the real football. I have been active in several sports associations and I love getting a beer afterwards in the canteen. Sport is basically central to my life. I can be very competitive and will do anything to win, even at board or video games, so get ready! I am certainly open to new sports. I like to try out rock climbing, play some more padel and catch up on basketball while I am 190cm. I have vegetarian housemates so I am excellent at taking that into account with alternatives to meat, although I prefer the real deal. Either way, I like to cook Italian, like lasagnas and pastas, but I love to learn more about Spanish cuisine. If you want to know more about what I do and like, check my ig, basv_es
