Hi every one, I´m Nestor from Spain.

I'll be also in Lund for 2012/2013 for Industrial Design master. I´m really looking forward to!

....one question guys...does anybody know how does these student nations and unions works?? what it´s the diference between both?....

maybe you know how this studennation works? there is any nation for industrail design students, or the Faculty of Engineering?

Hi Nestor

What I have understood from what a swedish friend has told me, is that the student nations organise extra-curricular social activities including sports, clubs, parties, cheap dinner nights and social events. I think some even have student housing. 

There is no nation for design or LTH students or any program in specific, we are free to choose any of them if we want to. Her sister for example studies in the faculty of engineering and belongs to Hallands Nations, actually she lives in a corridor room there.

Hey guys, I'm Joey and I'm from Egypt. I will be studying special area studies at faculty of social sciences( I originally study Mechanical Engineering at my home University )

I wil be there from 21 th of August 2012 to 5 th of june 2013. does anyone know how to find a suitable accommodation at on of the nations?

and also do we have to do a registeration or something before we arrive to lund ?

as I'm really interseted in living the real student life in lund.
