Accommodation in a university college or room in a private apartment

I'm looking for a room in a college where there are people coming from different countries, but I would like a single room. I would like an economical room, located in a central location and equipped with its own kitchen. I will go to college curie universities, so I would like to stay close to it. I would also prefer lodging from which easy access to public transport is possible
