Hi everyone.....how is it going? I'll be in Louvain next year for my erasmus as y'all, even if at the beginning I was supposed to go to toulouse.....:)

I'll study at UCL too....have you already applied for the kot?

Yep...that's what they told me to me too. But a friend of mine that is now there said that the one provided by the Uni. are not many, so we should apply as soon as possible.

Hello everybody!

Im going to UCL at Louvain in September for the second years of my masters (M2) in economics. I didn't get a kot either. I guess Ill get a private studio. Does any one of you know anything about living expenses, specially related to food?

Hello everyone!

I am going to UCL in September for 5 months and I was recently informed that I was enrolled to a kap, kot-a-project, instead of a kot. However the overall price seems to be around 400-450 euros, including internet and the electricity. So I'm not really sure of what to do, I may share an apartment too if it is cheaper but I have no ideas at all about renting or finding an apartment.

i'm arriving 14 september. university housing starts 17 sept and need a place to sleep, but i just found a hotel at LLN, quite expensive. do you know some hotel/hostal/ auberge/camping where i can go? do you think is better to look for a place in bruxelles?

Hi Charline and Everybody,

I have the same issue as most of the guys here have  - I was not in the list to receive the University Housing and so I am on my own to find a room/shared appartment/kot, etc. However, I will be a Master Student at LLN, not an Erasmus, so I need to find something for 10 month instead of 6 or 5 month. Nevertheless, I still would rent a room even for smaller period of time!

I will be arriving at LLN on 12th of September!

Eagerly waiting on any kind of a help/answer!

Hello, 

I'm from Poland and I will study in LLN at UCL during 1st semester.

I have the same problem as you  have, guys.. I look for  some  not expenisve room. I sent many mails to  private owners and to  agencies immo but they all want ' contract du bail'  for 10-12 months...

what to do... 

no one of us wants to live 20 km from LLN of to  sign  contract for 1 year and try to fins domeone for 2nd  semester...
