Hee everybody

My name is Sytze van der Veen and I am 22 years old and I am from The Netherlands and I am going to Loughborough university in september till 31 januari so this will be for the first semester only.  I am going to study on the Wolfson school of manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering. In Holland I study Industrial Engineering and Management. 

I am trying to find accommodation for this first semester but I cant find any landlord who wants to let to an exchange student because the period is to short. 

Do you guys have any tips or know more on this matter?

Hello! I'm Maria, a spanish girl living in lboro at the moment.

Have you tried in webpages such as SpareRoom.co.uk or easyroommate.com? 

I know its quite difficult to get short stances in houses, however my landlord is quite easy going in that aspect, and he's got plenty of houses to rent so maybe you can email him and see if you can arrange something with him (in terms of short term period or send you pictures if he has spare rooms etc etc)

You can always have a look as well in the halls of residence which are at uni (William morris, Rutherford, Cayley...)  however these ones are quite expensive :/

When I was doing my erasmus, there were quite a few friends living in houses and just staying for one semester so you will find something for sure. This guy has a few houses to rent: http://www.chrismorris.me.uk/ and i have known of people who lived in his houses for short periods!
