Production and Distribution Intern

This is an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to gain invaluable experience in TV and Film distribution.

It is a hands-on sales and marketing role where you will be offering a fascinating range of content to major broadcasters and buyers around the world.

There is also the opportunity to pitch ideas to broadcasters to produce in-house content or to raise funds for other producers.

We offer 50 pounds per week expenses and are looking for someone to start as soon as possible for a minimum of 3 months.

Scorpion TV is an international production and distribution company dedicated to the worldwide sales of award-winning films and television shows. Working closely with the independent film and television community, the productions we represent are creative and often critically acclaimed.

The job consists of:

•           Marketing and selling diverse TV content to worldwide TV and media buyers

•           Calling and emailing buyers to discuss their needs

•           Researching marketplace to find new buyers and content

•           Entering films into film festivals around the world

•           Raising co-production funds for producers

•           Using computer system to log sales activity and customer responses

•           Keep systems and files in good order. General filing / office work

•           Updating social networks

•           Helping develop and pitch show ideas to broadcasters

•           Producing and editing short segments
