INTERN ROLE FOR CONTRACT WITH AN INITIAL PERIOD BETWEEN 6 AND 12 MONTHS, LEADING TO FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The candidate will be based in our London office in Clapham SW4. The role will be varied and will take on challenging tasks in all aspects of lettings and property management. Working in a small office the candidate will need to show good interpersonal skills and posses a willingness to learn. 

DAILY TASKS INCLUDE

 

  • Attending property viewings
  • Checking in and checking out of tenants
  • Managing our customer software “Landlord Manager”
  • Answering the phone       
  • Answering customer queries
  • Receiving payments
  • General office administration (Filing)
  • Dealing with customers
  • Handling complaints and logging issues with maintenance
  • Marketing properties in the different web portals
  • Updating the website and web apps including facebook and twitter

 

SKILLS REQUIRED

 

You will need the following skills to be successful within the role: 

 

  • UK or European driving licence
  • Good level of English
  • Fluent speaker of another Language (Preferably Spanish, Italian or French)
  • Between 19 – 31
  • Hard working
  • Willingness to learn
  • Excellent sales skills and customer service
  • Willingness to work on weekends when required 
  • Ability to deal with difficult situations and an effective manner
  • Prior experience not needed
  • Excellent communication skills

PAY & BENEFITS

 

The following are your Apprentice terms:

 

  • Length of internship between 6 and 12 months with the possibility to extend it.
  • Probation period of 3 months pay at £700pcm
  • Following a successful probation period pay is set at £900pcm and £15 commission per sale.
  • Following a successful probation period is set a £100 bonus at the end of the month if all the rooms are sold during the month
  • The contract is reviewed annually and it can be broken within 2 months notice before the 1st year.
  • 40 hours per week 
  • Accommodation can be provided and deducted from monthly pay
  • After successful probationary period, 28 days paid annual leave inclusive of bank holidays and office closures
