Parties, restaurants, prices, people
Hi everyone,
I would like to share with you my experience as a native of Łomża, Poland.
- First of all, Łomża is not a big city, it's rather a town with all the necessary facilities for sport and entertainment.
- People here are very hospitable and eager to help, so dont worry about it. If you need help just ask and the problem will be solved!
- Parties are inescapable, what is more you must have "a strong head" to drink a great amount of alcohol which is quite strong. We have many places for parties, the one that I like the most is called Stara Stolarnia (the owner and as well the security guard can speak english and spanish), moreover it has an spanish atmosphere. The other place is Yam Caffee, but I dont like it so much. You can just go there and check where you feel better.
- Prices. Here the cost of living is very cheap. You will probably spend more in alcohol and parties than in food. We have different kinds of markets like Lidl, Biedronka and Kaufland which are pretty cheap.
- Restaurants. Yes, as every town, we also have them. Some of them are ok and some are not. I prefer pizzerias, but we have one restaurant where you can eat spanish food and it's called Restauracja Retro. The funniest thing is to prepare food at home with everybody, it's always so funny!
- There are few places to visit, but guys... we have like 15 churches, 3 museums, a theatre, and I think the best location. It is 2h to Warsaw, and also, more or less, 2h to get the lakes.
If you have any questions just write me.
