Advice for accommodation

Hello everyone :)

I will be a new student in Lodz in September and I'm searching for accommodation but I don't know what to choose. I like the idea of having an apartment alone but I am afraid of making no friends if I get this type of accommodation. I've made a demand in the dormitory of the university but I don't like the idea of sharing my bathroom, room, kitchen with everybody, I'd like some privacy, but the thing is, I think the student atmosphere must be great so I don't know. Collocation can be great too, but if I have an erasmus roommate it would be better I guess aha.
